Professor Brian Cox returns to Oxford May Music for the fourth time. With a new lecture, Brian will explore aspects of the seasons both on earth and elsewhere in the Solar System. After the interval Jack Liebeck will be the soloist in a performance of the “Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi accompanied by the Oxford May Music Festival Orchestra.

There is no dress code.

No babies permitted.

Festival pass for all lectures and concerts: £95/£85

Festival “3-for-2” pass – 3 concerts and 3 lectures of your choice: £50/£45 (concerts and lectures must be specified at time of purchase).

Please note that the above passes are only available via telephone on 01865 305 305, or in person at our office at Oxford Playhouse, or from the Oxford May Music Website

Tickets to the concerts on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday afternoons and Monday evening are provided free to 8-25 years old through the Cavatina Chamber Music Trust scheme, subject to availability. Please email to apply for a ticket, or alternatively fill in this web form. A special student rate of £7.50 will apply for the Friday and Sunday evening concerts. For the Saturday Brian Cox events, the standard concessionary rate of £15 is available for persons under 25 years old.
