SUMMER CARNIVAL

SUMMER CARNIVAL

Jack Gibbons’ 31st annual Oxford Summer Piano Series

The acclaimed pianist and composer Jack Gibbons has been performing his highly popular annual Oxford Summer Piano Series without a break since 1988. Tonight’s festive programme features exuberant piano music inspired by the riotous characters of Italy’s Commedia dell’arte and by the folk music from Spain, Hungary and Appalachia. This special 30th anniversary programme will also include the world premiere of Jack Gibbons’ new Suite for piano.
