Direct from the Cannes Film Festival, EVOLVER is an immersive virtual reality experience that pushes the frontiers of film, technology and medical science. This deep dive inside the human body takes you through the processes that sustain all life. Air travels from the mouth into the lungs, whirling like a tornado, before circulating the complex rivers and tributaries of our cardiovascular system and back into the natural world.
EVOLVER’s unique journey unfolds with narration from Academy Award-winning actor Cate Blanchett, alongside opening music from musician and producer Jon Hopkins. The score also features music by Jonny Greenwood, Meredith Monk, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Yair Elazar Glotman, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Robert Aiki, Aubrey Lowe and Howard Skempton.
The first part of the event is a meditative session on bean bags. The second part is seated on chairs.
